About me

I love people. I love feeding people. Whether that’s by making you soup and and having soul talks at my table, or preaching a Sunday sermon that’s been loving researched and prayed over, or having a conversation to untangle leadership challenges together.

I have two decades of experience in discipleship ministry, and I’ve had the privilege of walking with believers through all ages and stages of life. I believe that discipleship ministries should serve everyone from children to seniors, and equip everyone from seekers to elders.

I grew up a denominational mongrel and have served with everyone from the mega-church Evangelicals (no longer my home, but hey, that’s where I met Jesus) to Presbyterians and high Anglicans. I call myself a “chara-turgical” because both I pray in tongues and love liturgy, wave my hands in the air during worship and love contemplative practices.

These days my church home is with a little band of misfits over at Wellspring Worship Centre in North York, Toronto.
